Our Certification Portfolio
Every certification we hold — what it means, why it matters, and which markets it unlocks for your brand.
KFDA
Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), Republic of Korea
The KFDA manufacturing license is the foundational regulatory credential for all cosmetic manufacturers in Korea. Issued by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS), it confirms that the facility meets Korea's strict manufacturing standards, has passed facility inspections, and is legally authorized to produce cosmetics for domestic sale and export.
Without a valid KFDA manufacturing license, a Korean facility cannot legally produce cosmetics. This is the non-negotiable baseline — every factory in our network holds this license. It is also the prerequisite for obtaining the Free Sale Certificate required by most importing countries.
What It Covers
- Mandatory for all Korean cosmetic manufacturers
- Covers facility standards, equipment, and personnel
- Required to obtain Free Sale Certificate for export
- Renewed and audited regularly by MFDS
- Publicly verifiable through MFDS database
Recognized By
- All importing countries
- EU Responsible Persons

4-Stage Quality Control Process
Certifications are only as good as the processes behind them. Here is exactly how quality is controlled at every stage of production.
Raw Material Testing
Every raw material batch is tested before entering production. Identity, purity, and microbial testing are conducted against approved specifications.
- Identity verification (FTIR, HPLC)
- Heavy metal screening
- Microbial contamination testing
- Certificate of Analysis review
In-Process Quality Checks
Critical quality parameters are monitored at every production stage — mixing, filling, and packaging — with documented checkpoints.
- Viscosity and pH measurement
- Fill weight verification
- Visual inspection at each stage
- Temperature and humidity monitoring
Finished Product Testing
Every production batch undergoes comprehensive finished product testing before release, including stability and microbial challenge testing.
- Microbial challenge testing (PET)
- Stability testing (accelerated and real-time)
- Organoleptic evaluation (color, odor, texture)
- Packaging integrity testing
Batch Record & COA
Complete batch records are maintained for every production run. A Certificate of Analysis is issued for each batch before shipment.
- Full batch record documentation
- Certificate of Analysis (COA) issuance
- Retain sample storage (5 years)
- Traceability to raw material lots
Certificate of Analysis for Every Batch
Every production batch ships with a full Certificate of Analysis (COA) documenting test results against approved specifications. Retain samples are stored for 5 years. Full batch traceability from raw material lot to finished product is maintained in our manufacturing partners' quality systems.
